Time Flies!

Wow, I cannot believe Greyson is 4 weeks old today. I know so many of you told me, time flies by when you have a baby, but you really don't believe it until it happens to you. He has grown and changed so much already in the first 4 weeks of his life. He has these amazing super alert periods of the day where he just stares at us and checks out all the things around him that he's never seen before. He's starting to have more and more facial reactions, and now we're just waiting for an official smile and not one due to him passing gas (one of his favorite hobbies). He's even starting to squirm around so much we're thinking rolling over isn't far in his future. Many of you know during my pregnancy I used a prenatal education system called "Baby Plus" that played a series of different rhythmic heartbeat like sounds twice a day for an hour that Greyson in the womb had to differentiate from my regular heart beat. I know many of you teased me for using my "tick tock", as many liked to call it, but I'm now a pretty firm believer in that using that device played some part in him being ahead of the curve developmentally for his age. He now sleeps for 3-4 hours between feedings during the night, can hold his head up for a good 30 seconds, lifts his head from side to side during tummy time, and makes all sorts of funny noises other than crying (grunting is my favorite).
We're set to head off on our first trip away from home with baby G this weekend when we will be driving down to Atlanta to visit Lisa at her new apartment. We're already overwhelmed thinking about how much baby stuff we'll have to bring - we're going to be like gypsies moving into Lisa's apartment. It should be a great time visiting Lisa, seeing some sites, and celebrating the Easter holiday while we're in town with her. We'll definitely take a lot of pics during our journey and show those off when we return.

Also, Greyson wants to wish 2 of his grandparents a happy birthday.......Nonny (Robyne - Lindsey's stepmom) has a birthday this week and Pop Pop (Daryl - Kyle's dad) will celebrate his birthday next week. Greyson sends a big hug and birthday kiss to both of you!
